Revamped social media advertisement materials for Canadian job search engine Eluta.ca, enhancing visual appeal, engagement and brand consistency to attract job seekers. 

The Problem

Eluta.ca is a Canadian job search engine managed by Canada's Top 100 Employers project. Users can apply for jobs directly from the company's careers page, including those of the companies that won Canada's Top 100 Employers project. This project requires clean, professional-looking advertisement material showcasing the professionalism of employers involved and also ensures a visually appealing and informative experience for job seekers and employers alike. The previous concept I designed during my second semester of college was suitable for a corporate audience with the flat illustration trend; however, the execution can be improved, particularly regarding the colour palette.

The Solution

The final revised design features a colour palette that is more consistent with Eluta's branding, featuring their signature reds and browns. In contrast to the original concept, which featured a speech bubble which dominated the screen, the revised version is more prominent, less cluttered and provides better contrast to the message Eluta intends to convey to job seekers and employers while being more visually appealing compared to the fluorescent colour palette used in the original concept. In this project, I explored different traditional and digital advertisement media, including posters on public transportation, social media ads, web banners, and app advertisements.
